Hey everyone it’s Rashad and this is Wear Many Hats presented by Dahsar where we talk about your main gig then we talk about your side hustle.

Sacred Pact is a boutique film production company based in New York City.

I first heard of Sacred Pact doing short commercials for my good friends and guests of the pod Kelsey and Lia for their project Sunday School where they featured their line of tees and work.

I also heard of Sacred Pact though their collaboration with friend and guest of the pod, Che Nembard of Clips Co-Op and their installment of Double Feature Fridays where they feature cult classic films and free vibes.

After their partnership I had to know what Sacred Pact was about. Sacred Pact came together in 2016 through the love of exploration, storytelling, and rich visuals.

They have directed, DP’d, produced, and edited numerous short documentaries, music videos, and fashion commercials.

Sacred Pact clients include T Magazine, Vice, Vogue, Billboard, Dazed Media, The Metropolitan Opera and a ton more.

Our friendships became bigger when I met Sunny Lee through another friend and guest of the pod, Sabreen Jafry at a Clips Co-Op activation at Public Records.

If you don’t know these places or what I’m saying, or who these great people are, educate yourself!

Lastly I went to a special screening of Sacred Pact’s Season 1 of Hidden Kingdom. An unconventional and intimate documentary web series that explores the lives of five New York dancers.

It blew me away and I walked out of the screening speechless.

Sacred Pact is Sunny Lee and Jacqueline Davis. A Film Company You Can Trust.

Please welcome Sacred Pact to Wear Many Hats.

How’s it going?

I want to say congratulations for getting into SXSW 2022 and the 2022 Slamdance Film Festival.

Have you guys ever been to those festivals before? What do you two expect?

Hidden Kingdom screening had all 5 dancers in attendance. Hearing about their stories, had to hold back tears but everyone else around me were sobbing. A night to remember.

How did you two meet? How did you two form your sacred pact?

Why did you guys get into film?

Work

I was watching your work for the scenemakers for T Mag and it’s got that Sacred Pact feel to it for sure. Got everyone in the party scene. Dece the homie of the Glam parties.

Your video for “Burning Bridges” by Yellowtechnica is absolute fire. You guys are bringing back music videos again like that was entertaining and the edit is beautiful.

I like that you guys have friends in your videos like Jae Kim of Bogus Luck riding his motorcycle in Blu DeTiger’s music video for “Cotton Candy Lemonade”

I’m currently wearing a harley tee shirt but I don’t ride motorcycles do you? I feel like such a poser. I

“A Flower Whose Glory” short film fucking heat. Featuring
Harlequin by Scraps.

Euphoria should have an episode directed by Sacred Pact. It would be so sick.

What movies and television shows are you watching now?

What’s your favorite movie theater in NYC?

Hats OFF

Hats off to you on all these things that you do, for some Wear Many Hats Dahsar solutions, we would love to have you shoot a short film or comemrcial for us. God that would be absolutely insane.

If you were to make a Wear Many Hats commercial what would you include or how would you shoot it?

Ending

If you were to get a chest tattoo quote what would it be?

Plug your socials where can people find you?

Till next time this is Wear Many Hats presented by Dahsar and I’m Rashad Peace!
