Paul Tao works across the music, art and marketing worlds through IAMSOUND a hub of music, art, culture and marketing, a hybrid creative studio, record label and visual artist management firm — a new model for a new hybrid era.

IAMSOUND launched in 2007 as a record label, known for releases with artists such as Florence and the Machine, Charli XCX, Lord Huron, Banks and Salem, before expanding into visual artist management and its studio.

I first heard of Paul Tao and IAMSOUND thru the AbsolutePunk Warped Tour days.

What were you into writing?

Do you remember just doing the Warped Tour circuit.

You were an A&R, I feel likeA&R has changed right? Back then it was very traditional today’s it’s all like industry plant.

What are you currently listening to now?

The LA Cinespace poster is a gem featuring the homie Hassan Rahim. I had friend and guest of the pod Jason Stewart on here and honestly I feel like Cinespace is just going to have this giant come back.
