Steele FC is a musician based in Brooklyn, NY.

I know Steele from coming into the coffee shop at the Canal Street Market and we became very fast friends learning about his band The Britany's and going to his shows around New York.

Steele FC has those face tattoo filters on IG and honestly I would get those on my face in real life.

Steele has a heart of gold, vegan, and is no relation to Brooklyn Steel.

I loved hearing your name dropped on How Long Gone. When Chris Black said you were at Azalea Banks SNL party. That was really funny. I was like I know that guy.

You’re back playing shows after a series of livestreams.

The new band merch you just put out designed by Tessa from Fun City Tattoo and modeled by Lindsey Jordan of Snail Mail band looked fun.

But before that the ‘Sick Band Name’ t-shirt before that was hilarious.

My favorite names on that shirt was ‘Black Revel Motorcycle Club’ only because I revel everywhere and I think I’m the only one that still likes that band.

You’ve got some songs out such as Ten Thirty, Que Sera, and Cherry.

I loved the end in Ten Thirty. Super soothing, putting that whole song on repeat.

Your other track ‘Save Room’ is so good too. The video has you showing off a little bit of your dance moves.

You’ve played with Rebounder before and they’re been putting out tracks I see a future tour.

Soccer

How long have you’ve been playing soccer for? I’ve played it for 8 years but never got back into it You play like every weekend. Where do you play around here?

The Britany’s

You played drums in the Britany’s now in your solo act you have a full band but you play bass and guitar.

I remember doing merch one night at the Rough Trade show that was fun.

How’s that band going?

The video is very calming. You’re sailing down the East River. Was production just handing you your guitar and a book and all these other items back and forth?

Did you get sea sick?

I wanted to get Cherry tattooed on me by my collaborators typeface on my arm but then the word cherry blew up everywhere!
