Wear Many Hats Episode 36 — Eunice Chun & Justin Mariano
Hey everyone it’s Rashad and this is Wear Many Hats presented by Dahsar where we talk about your main gig then we talk about your side hustle.
We have Justin Mariano and Eunice Chun from the very first Wear Many Hats episode coming back on to do an exclusive “Where ya at” episode. This is very exciting because a lot has changed since 2018 and I mean a lot.
Justin was a flower boy no Tyler although we saw Tyler, the creator at the Garden in 2019 and that was the last time he worked as a flower dealer at the Canal Street Market and also did flowers for our Dahsar Commercial Type release.
Eunice was slinging coffee at city of saints which I somehow still get at Foster Sundry shout out to Hannah and was an assistant at the Gagosian Gallery.
They’ve all grown into big hotshots now that it was so hard to track these guys down. Ones on Instagram the other is not. I had to slide into ones DMs to get to and surprisingly it wasn’t Eunice’s.
I was so glad to have them back on the show, welcome back Justin Mariano and Eunice Chun.
You know when I can keep doing these intros every time I’m starting to sound like a YouTuber and it scares me. I’m trying to go more Price Is Right Jeopardy. But I guess I need to work on that.
How are you guys?
I just remember the first episode I was shitting bricks. Trying to figure out the niche of this podcast and I’m glad I got to start it with you guys. And now this podcast is famous.
I just saw Eunice driving by yesterday in Greenpoint. I saw her car and I was like wait a minute i’ve seen that License plate before and its from having topay so many parking tickets with.
I just recorded my EP down the street from Eunice’s LOL. Spent two days there recording guitar and vocals at Deep Space Recordings, where my friend Chris records and engineers for Kanye West, Bon Iver, Naeem, and me.

The EP is called Nitehawker and the artist name is called Smog Cutter. Very NYC — LA.
Honestly it began when I used to go to Nitehawk to see films like Nebraska and I made Eunice take a fit pic / album cover of me in front of the Williamsburg one with a 35mm Marlboro Canon special edition film camera LOL

Paris must be insane right now? How did you get out there? You’re coming back but I wanted to come out and visit you?
Eunice doesn’t have an IG anymore but I recently posted a story of me rocking dresses in my IG — yeah instagram has gotten that weird. After Cudi rocked a dress on SNL inspired by Kurt Cobain.
So I can officially say that this summer 2021 we out here rockin dresses. You with me Justin?
It’s not white boy summer it’s men wearing dresses summer. Let’s go.

So Justin you’re in Paris, eating a lot of bread, whats the croissant game looking like over there?
What have you been taking pics of, what’s your daily life going on in Paris besides wearing berets and scootering around town?
I was basically doing the same thing no baguette with the Revels out here.

Eunice since we last talked you were slinging coffee and working at Gagosian. What’s going on now? Where ya at?
The Drunken Canal
So theres this newspaper catered to the Manhattan masses of Dime Square basically on Canal and Division Street meet where they distribute their free newspapers called The Drunken Canal and it’s all about pop culture within Dimes Square, dating, restaurants but they’re spin to it. Very entertaining so I decided to put a full page ad in there and yo do you guys rememebr this photoshoot?
I had to put the sensor bar and blur out my face though because mad heads pick this up and I really don’t want my shit out there.
Do you guys remember this? We took all these photos after the first podcast episode out on the other side of Canal.
