May Kim is a digital creator, illustrator, 3D designer, art director, you could just call her artist but she’s much more than that.

May is the Director of the creative collective OBJECT MODE where she art directs along with 3D artists on the team for clients such as WKorea, Omega, Rolex, and many more.

I first met May in Seoul when I traveled outside of the states to get the word out about the Wear Many Hats podcast but didn’t know I’d get to see May’s works at the SINSAHOUSE to see The Rabbit Universe.

Glad we became friends but wish I stayed longer because May was going to all these sick events for Fendi or Givenchy seeing favorites perform such as Romy from The XX but I can’t keep up with the celebrity sightings every week. God I miss Seoul.

You went to MICA right? I’ve had alum Greg Gazdowicz on the show. I feel like when people go to art school they don’t realize they become famous after.

I just feel like artists are the new celebs / influencers.

Who are you seeing this week or what event are you going to next?

Scrolling through your gram I’m already jealous because I wanted those Gentle Monster Margiela shades. Don’t tell me you got a free pair.

I went to the Gentle Monster store for the first time and it was in Seoul and I can totally see your 3D pieces in there for sure.

I’m wearing Anderson Bell. Another Korean favorite. Korea is so hot right now.
