Hey everyone it’s Rashad and this is Wear Many Hats presented by DAHSAR where we talk about your main gig then we talk about your side hustle.
Lizzy Jo is for the community and she’s all about giving back. She uses her design skills for good and a tool to make sure your art is not black and white. She is “multidisciplinary” which she says is a (typical millennial terminology WHICH IT IS!) designer who ties together color and culture in all her personal projects.
Lizzy has worked for Art 21, Loud Community, DBN, Hot Mic Media, Business as Usual
She’s a teacher, appreciates the arts, is sex positive, loves color. We met on Tinder.
Give it up for Lizzy Jo!
Art 21 — Jordan Casteel for T-Magazine, Kara Walker is my jam shes worn one of my hats before, Do Ho Suh had an exhibit at the brooklyn museum that you could go in his home that he created
Lizzy Made a zine this year and she donated the funds to charity
What charity did you choose to donate funds to and why?
Why do you love Los Angeles
Any parties do you remember?
So I dubbed this as the sex zine. But what is your zine really about?
Do any of your previous dudes know about your zine?
I’m not sure if I dodged a bullet about not being in your zine or not but I feel like we could have had great stories.
What is the Loud Community?
We talk about Graphic Designers:
And how boring they can be because they only stick to one thing and the one thing is what they’re good as is just design, kind of nothing else
What’s your favorite social media site?
How we end the podcast is that if you were to get a chest tattoo quote in olde english what would your phrase be?
Thank you Lizzy for being on the show! This is Wear Many Hats with your host Rashad presented by Dahsar, we out.
